Freedom Coach™

$535/mo for 60 months.

You'll finance $26,885 and pay $5,209 in interest — 122% of sticker over the life of the loan.

  • Loan length looks reasonable.
  • The 20/4/10 rule: 20% down, 4-year term, and total car costs under 10% of gross income. Score yourself against that.
  • Get pre-approved at your bank before the dealer. Dealer financing markups add 1–2% APR most people never notice.

Frequently asked questions

What loan term should I choose?

60 months or less. Beyond 60, you spend most of the loan underwater — owing more than the car is worth. If you can't afford a 60-month payment, you can't afford the car.

How much should I put down?

At least 20% new, 10% used. This keeps you right-side-up on the loan and gets you better rates.

APR vs interest rate?

APR includes fees; interest rate doesn't. Compare APR when shopping — dealer 'promotional' rates often hide origination fees that pop APR 1–2 points higher.

Should I refinance?

If rates have dropped 1%+ since you signed, or your credit score jumped 50+ points, run the refi numbers. It usually saves $500–2,000.
